Information for the tournament

On the weekend of 14 and 15 July 2018, the 16th anniversary of the oldest international streetball tournament, Prague International Streetball Cup, will take place in Prague, Jan Palach Square in front of Rudolfinum.

This tournament is attended by six elite Czech teams (Humpolec Bernard has a wild card this year) and six
foreign teams. It’s playing for very good prize money!





Team prize money:






1st place: 2000 euros



2nd place: 1000 euros


3rd place: 500 euros

Attention! The winner of the competition of the Slam Dunk Battle for Europe can achieve financial
prize of € 500!

The tournament starts on Saturday and Sunday at the same time, at 14:00 – playing at one central
court and one will be for warm-up.

Presentation of your teams will be passing off on both two days from 12:30 to 13:30, the official
start will be at 13:45.

Teams will be placed in four groups on Saturday (A, B, C, D), so there will be three teams in each
of them. Winners of each group will automatically advance to Sunday’s quarterfinals. With four more places to go on
to the quarterfinals, teams on the second and third places in groups will play against each
other.

On Saturday, 16 rounds will be played without skill competitions.

Sunday´s fights start with the best eight of the quarterfinals, of which the duel winners
will advance to the semifinals. In the two semi-final games four top teams will compete, winners will advance to the
final and losers will fight for bronze. So the Sunday’s program has eight rounds and also skillful competitions in
smashing and top three point shooters.

Slam Dunk Battle for Europe starts at 15 pm on Sunday. 3pt Shootout for Europe starts at 15:50 pm on
Sunday. 

The playing time of one match will be 10 minutes.
